For digital payments provider Comenity Connect, the core objective was to create payment solutions that gave consumers more financing options when shopping with their favorite brands. As an emerging sub-brand under a master brand, it was critical to nail down the right positioning. It had to be cohesive enough to fit into the existing Comenity brand, but different enough to communicate its own value proposition. Thorough competitive analysis, consumer surveys, and a deep-dive into the broader Comenity brand helped inform the strategy behind the story.
